151. Blank help
Silly and clumsy me! I wanted to rebuild my rod and was overzealous with the blade, when removing the old guides. The result is a broken tip, Therefore I am looking for a tip section from an IST1084F blank. Thing is, it's an old Cascade Composites US-made blank ... Please help, anyone?
Cheers,
Michal

What can I say? Wouldn't dream of disagreeing ;-)
And actually I will still say this: check out the Phenix blanks.

Personally I haven't used them, but I do know that quite a few guys in Poland use Phenix Elixer series blanks for perch rods. This has effectively removed any remaining bubbles and resulted in a nice smooth transition from blank to finish. Besides if you put too much finish on a wrap and then heat it somewhat, the excess will drop down, although you

Mudhole customer builder for sure (cute colours). Also check out the St.Croix SCIII fuchsia metallic blanks. There is a one-piece 6' panfish blank in that range. Alternatively you could paint something yourself...

Hello everyone from a newbie (amateur) in Poland :-)
This may be a bit of a sidestep from the fly blank-to-spinning rod theme, but about seatrout rods - Karl, why don't you check out German or Polish rodbuilders? They have quite a broad range of blanks available and can oblige as far as a rod of the sort you want is concerned. Shipping costs are rather civilised within the EU and no customs du
