from everything ive read the sj732 has a very light relatively soft "whippy" tip. sj703 has been described as have a bit stiffer tip and not as fast. the sj732 was reccomended to me from members on hear as a good hair jig rod for 1/8oz. baits. and from the power and action, specs, and the deflection charts, id agree. i ve been eying the SJ703 for another smallie ( ifish river s

thx norman i would think the same as you which is why when i looked at the rodhouse deflection charts for these 2 blanks, it through me... as they are so close. the MB actually loads more with 100g then they are basically identical. then the SB is .3 oz lighter which makes me think its less powerful ....not sure how accurate those charts are.

Anyone compare these 2 blanks. rod deflection charts on rodhouse show them to be very similar blanks. but the SB has a light overall weight.

i see a few mentions of the immortals being lighter which looks to be the case across the board with the exception of the 68MXF and the 610MXF... anyone directly compare the revelations to immortals on these....ive never fished either but have handled the immortals and have 2 blanks to build ..IMMS68ML and IMMS68M ...WAS thinking a 68MXF or 610MXF might compliment the 2 but the weights had m

I strongly dislike the split spinning seats for all the reasons David Baylor outlined above...hand cramping comes to mind lol. but of the 2 id say vss although i never used one, but have used the ips I also opt for batson or fuji skeleton seats or dpsm style seats in size 17. ill use dpsm when im doing eva grips and ill overlay the section between the hoods with a piece of eva so its flu

hey roger, PA smallies is exactly what ill be chasing!! where ya from? love the xmg50 blanks, one of my favorite lines of blanks to fish. unfortunately ive broken 3 out of the 4 I built. and im not one to break alot of rods. probably why ive stalled on building the 781 i have. that said. no sense in letting it sit and collect dust. ill have to do a mock up and test it out. at the

hey thx guys. good to know on NFC. THX. btw didnt mean to come off as bashing them the 76MLXF croix keeps calling my name and honestly if they still offered blanks in sc3 it be a no brainer. ive test casted my SC369MLXF with 1/8OZ. hairjigs and can only assume the longer length would handle em and lighter even better
