I use Fuji ISP16 and VSS16 reel seat (IPS result in larger grip diameter by 1or2mm)
If I use DPS style I think I'll switched to size 17.
VSS17 is to big for me.
But I'm small with not so big hand.

For me, considering they comme with a free rod bag, the cost is good (as the standard version).
They are lighter.
The finish is a little on the down side vs standard (the sanding could have been done with more précision on my blank).

For price vs quality it's hard to beat Fuji Alconite.
Pacific Bay Minima 4 are a good choice if you want very light guides.

The SK2 is more confortable than the Minima for me.
No weight saving (it wheight more than an IPS16 for exemple).

The Fuji Spinning SKSS16 (SKSS/ASH + SKSS/B) weight 17gr so the weight saving is only visual (a Fuji IPS16 with nut weight 16gr).
It seems more confortable than the Pacific Bay Minima reel seat.

It depend of number off ring used.
A standard size Rubberized cork ring can weight 9gr and a cork ring ils less than one grm.
So if you put 3 rubberized cork ring in a grip (instead of 3 cork ring) you end up with a grip heavier by 24gr (near one ounce).

Yes Rufus
But what is important for the fisherman ?
It's Nice to know winch rod is the more sensitive by mesurement, but the more important, for me at all, is how I feel the rod sensitivity.
It's how the rod help me in detecting bite (or help me detecting I touch the bottom, or weed, or a rock ......) that is important for me.

I think some blank are more sensitive than other.
Sure the building as is part but the blank too (and I think a big part).
I think the type of carbon as is part as the bonding and other technique.
As tell as the design.

Not sure. If you fish two rod (blank) side by side. It can be easy to see which is more sensible. Just my opinion.

I did it but some list items they don't have in stock (as mentionned).
I too placed orders and received all except Minima 4 XF4XG03 (allways in backorder).
I have XF4XG04 but to big for some project.
