Thanx Lou I finally figured it out. The difference between Norton Personal Firewall and Internet Security is That i had to open the last tab( the name escapes me right now) instead od user settings. I manually type the name of the site and click on the permit button. Finally clickin OK till Im out of Norton. THANX ONCE AGAIN for trying to help!

I"ve been using heat shrink tubing to insulate my wiring connections for years. I have not seen any company that makes shrink tubing that shrinks lengthwise just in diameter like Ken said. So I wouldnt worry too much about having to compensate the length.

Hi my name is Dan. I recently bought some light duty inshore rods. After the first time I used one of them I noticed the cork handle was beginning to turn black. I would like to ask two questions. First is there anyway that I can restore the cork to its original color. Second is there anything that I can apply to the cork to keep it from turning black in the future. Thanx in advance for any h

Hi Eric my name is Dan. I've asked the guys that work at the local paint supply store in my neighborhood the same question. They recommend using a Poly Urethane base pigment and clear coat as well. I would mix a flex agent into both as also. According to what they are telling me Urethane finishes are the most flexible of the automotive finishes. Plus you can choose from probably thousands

I've seen a portable butane torch/soldering iron for sale in local Radio Shack stores. If you dont have a Radio Shack by you I'ld try a hardware stoe or a home depot type place might have it as well. It comes with a flameless blower tip and works the same way that a flameless cigarette lighter works. It heats a ceramic grid that in turn heats the air coming out of the tip. No flame to burn an

If the finish is laquer. It could very well be cracking and even flaking off. Laquer is the stiffest and most brittle paint that is out there. Laquer cracks so badly that even car manufacturers stopped using it. It kept coming off the plastic bumper covers that are on just about every car and truck made today. Works great on sheetmetal panels that are stiff and dont flex but try and flex a l

Hi Bill my Name is Dan and I'm new to rod building. I would love to join NERB's. How do I do this. I live in Syosset NY, thats in Nassau county on Long Island.
