Hello all,
I am new to this hobby and was wondering if I can use Devcon 2 ton epoxy for rod wraps? I have used it for crankbait finish and have it on hand. Thanks Lou Re: Epoxy for guide wraps

That epoxy is an adhesive. You want to use a finish epoxy for the rod wraps. Finish epoxy will flex with the rod. Re: Epoxy for guide wraps

It is not the proper type of epoxy for wraps. As said before it is an adhesive, whereas the wrap type is more of a casting resin. Devcon or other adhesives besides being "off color" do not level like wrap epoxy. Re: Epoxy for guide wraps
