TO: Spencer: I'm still wondering what would happen if you do put them together, wouldn't the PG help the epoxy harden, and the epoxy give the whole mix longer life, to apply? Write me asap. The guy who ask just might try that, and I wouldn't want anything to go wrong! Thank you!

I was asked this ?," Can you mix PG with let say Flex Coat epoxy, for finishing entire rod?" I did not know what to tell him, so if anyone knows the answer to this ?, please let me know, Thank You!

Thank you, Steve, I will keep that in mind when I build my spinning rod, I guess I'll just use all the same size for the casting crank bait rod I am now building, teh shaky head rod is next, spinning!

The 27x guide placement to place the choker guide, would it be ok to place all the guides equally, through out the whole rod? I plan on using size 2mm or 1.5 all down the rod, so, would you say that i didn't need to use the 27x guide choker thing or not? I'm just inquiring to see if anyone would have an idea on this difficult ?,lol! I'm ready to get the guides for my rod blank and want to choose

Russel Brunt: I want to put PG on, then the epoxy, you wrote that you can't apply the PG with a brush, then what do you use to apply it to the wraps?

Thanks for all teh feed back, I have been using a foam brush, but I thought of seeing whether i can use a sprayer, so, thanks, I'll stick to teh foam brush! and Frank, it ndoes smell pretty strong, and i am being careful!

I have tried to look up this subject but found no answers, so here it goes. Does anyone know if Perma Gloss can be sprayed through a spray paint gun, and if so how? I will appreciate any and all replies. Thank You!

I am waiting for the rodsmith RW-XL tubular lathe, from @#$%& .com, and I want you to know that I have heard some having problems with theres and some that say they like using it, so If I have any problems with it, I will let you know, since you seem to know what would be the problem, I'm hoping that it will be in good working condition with no problem

Could anyone tell me about this vinegar for the abalone, is it to mend the crack abalone? I got one of them bass abalone decals, its like only an inch long, and it has cracked, would that mend the cracked abalone bass?

That was very informative on lock wrapping! Now i have a ?, how do you put the micro guide in place to get it ready to wrap, they are so small, i've been trying to figure it out on my blank, but am still not sure I want to try it yet untill i get some info on a better way, I,m thinking of trying that temporary guide adhesive, But will it come loose under the wrap after you done wrapped it! Please

putting size 4 and 3's micro guides on the rod , like 5, 4's then 3's all the way then the tip, or should I start like with a bigger size then gradually go to smaller?
