Hey guys.....I have placed an order for some components for a set of 130 lb class bent butt rods intended for tuna and night time sword. While building my order I saw a roll of 1"x36" leather wrap material to be used to wrap over an EVA foregrip. I don't think it is self-adhesive....can anyone give me some tips on how to apply it? How to start and finish the wrap? Do I wrap it on the gr

Hi Gents..I salvaged these along with 3 uni butts from some garage sale rods this past weekend. Any ideas on how best to clean them up without abrasives? Anything I can just soak them in? Thanks in advance for your input. Joe

Neither of which is really practical for me. I will make do. Jack......as I have learned from my research I believe your foot pedal is a rheostat...which governs th

I recently moved up from my homemade hand wrapper to a CRB system from Mudhole. It has a basic 5000 RPM sewing machine motor as I understand. I am a hobbyist so it is more than adequate for my needs. The thing is.......I have only wrapped left to right with the rod rotating away from me. I just can't seem to do it any other way. This is fine for underwraps and such with the new wrapper but I can

Norman....if this rod was going to get any heavier duty than a few stocked brown trout or little smallies I would definitely start over with a two piece blank. I think I may just choose a spot above the stripper guide where the rod doesn't flex much and insert a metal ferru
