37. RM index
Tom, I know that there is an index of the articles in RM from Vol 1 thru Vol 7. Is there an index that gets us to the the most recent volumes? I see that you can get a listing per issue on the RM site, wasn't sure if there was a master index available. Thanks

Is there any reason why I couldn't use Pro Paste to glue brass or aluminum inserts into carbon arrows. I normally use devcon epoxy. Thanks

Does anyone know what guides that St Croix used on their Triumph line. I need to replace a guide and top for a friend and there are no markings on the guide that I could see. The St Croix website states that they use "Hard aluminum-oxide guides with black frames." Just trying to match it up. if not I'll replace it with something appropriate.
Thanks
Tony

I like mine a little longer. I surf fish a lot and the butt of the rod ends up between your legs, usually 10-11' rods. On my lighter inshore rods, 7' I make the butt long enough to reach my legs 13-14", my hands are a little lower, but it still allows me to anchor the rod with the butt and apply pressure with my bask as opposed to my arms. Plus I find if you are casting with 2 hands I get

Just checked, the main page looks screwy but the forums seem to be working. Didn't see anything about XP, but I thought that's what it ran on originally. Here's a link to the forum

I have had Visual Wrap on Vista and 7. I think it was made for XP. Check out the forum on the Visual Wrap site, they have a section to help with installation. There was some minor tweaking to get it to work on Vista and 7.

Capt Neil, that's a shame. I enjoyed talking to him the couple of times I met him. My condolences.

As a side note, I keep my reels in my carry-on bag. I get some funny looks, but I'm not taking the chance of losing a reel.

Just returned from Panama with a rod tube, about 6'. No extra charge, it would have been the standard fee, but the airline doesn't charge for luggage, (2 per person). I wrap my rods in a fleece blanket in the rod tube. Go to a craft store and but 3 yards of a fleece fabric and get a full wrap around each rod, I alternate the dorection of the rods so I have at least on rod butt on each end. Fo
