Listen to Andy and your problems will go away. I had the same problem, and found that 70 degrees is the answer. Threadmaster will self level and be as bubble free as possible for an epoxy at this temp. Calvin I have a Grizzley hobby lathe that I have replaced with a penn state lathe and I would be happy to sell it to you with the grizzley drill that fits . Check out a fly shop for holographic mylar. It comes in spools, is very easy to see in poor light (picks up light), looks good as well. It is available in a wide range of colors. Just weave in a piece .250 or .300 and he will be all set.

I have used " PAM " spray for this purpose. It is cheap, easy to apply and readily available. Gets ib all nooks and crannys very well.
