After reading RodMarker's article many times in the last months, I finally ordered one of these kits to Donjer. I'm waiting for it to arrive. I've always had problems for cleaning synthetic grips after installing them. I mean to remove excess of epoxy. I think it will be still more difficult with flocked grips. Any advice for the installation process and/or for cleaning epoxy spots? Thank!

I've been thinking about how a translucent wrap would look. I mean using white regular nylon thread with no CP. I imagin titanium guide foot will not change color as it happens when shaping other kind of guides.

Hi again, guys. I've bought a rod and edje between reel seat and foam grip was "covered" by something like a winding check. I've liked this effect, because it makes a nic transition. You'll find a photo here: www.fishright.com/publi/mango.jpg I could not find nothing similar to this in the catalogs I have, at least with this conical shape. Are this some kind of winding check?
