That notice has been up for some time. Not a good sign. Another vendor, Dan Craft, has had a website notice "be back soon" up for some time. I have concerns about both. Anyone know?

Thanks for responses. I should have clarified more. Material: Carbon fibre for sure. Aesthetics/color: Important but not critical. Function: Trout in medium size rivers in the Rocky Mountain West. Dry flies and nymphs, some smaller streamers. Mostly 4 and 5 x tippets. Action: Medium Fast to Fast. Don't want a 2x4 stiff. Needs to be able to cast to 60 feet with accuracy. Recently made

I had a 30 year old rod and did the boil the real seat in water method. I would boil for a couple minutes and try to remove. After 4 or 5 of several minutes each the epoxy softened and I got it off. Don't twist much or apply too much torque or you can break the blank. Also, too much heat is not good for graphite, so really be careful. A bit of a hit or miss method. Also, if you glued a wood

put a wrap in about 2.5 to 3 inches above your outermost hook keeper wrap. Then put down a layer of guide epoxy on and between the two wraps. Let it dry. Get some very fine 300-400 grit sandpaper. I am thinking of wrapping up a 9 ft 6 wt trout rod. What do folks think of PacBay Quickline vs Batson Eternity or Revelation? I don't want too stiff or too fast. Are the North Fork Composite Gama Beta rods super fast and stiff?
