I just finished a butt wrap with an inscription on it. I used a silver, medium point gel pen and it worked out pretty good. I put threadmaster finish over the inscription without any problems. I got the silver and gold pens at Staples.

I know that this subject has been beat to death but has anybody had any experience with Gorilla Glue for gluing on tip top? I ran out of the other 5-minute glue I normally use and to save a trip to town I thought I would use this. Thanks Terry

I think I did something stupid but I don't know for sure. I used a scribe to mark lines on the rod I'm building. After experimenting with some CP to see if it would cover the little marks I've come to the conclusion that I might be in trouble. Will epoxy finish sink down and hide them ?Thanks

Can anyone tell me if there is a good instructional video or dvd on butt wraps. I'm not into the weaving part as of yet. I've got a Renzetti lathe and I would like to be able to use it on the wraps if I can. I don't do saltwater just freshwater rods. Thanks

Is there a commerically made epoxy / finish mixer out there ? I've read and seen pictures of how to make one out of a rod drying motor but can't seem to find the time to do it. So if somebody could point me in the right direction I would appreciate it. Thanks

I've been using a high build rod finish that I buy from Cabela's called " Two-Part Professional Rod Finish". It comes packets and works pretty good but I think it's alittle expensive. Can anybody recommend a good high build finish ? Thanks
