I drill one end 1/2 way through and flip the grip and finish the drilling from the other side,
quite accurate for a drill press.

The type of cord that you would use for tying meat to cook.
has good thickness so not a thousand raps
it absorbs the epoxie well.
and don't forget to prep the blank before you wrap.

I think checkering would be incredable on a grip, id like to see it when your done
I have been watching a frend ofmine that checkers fore years I think you have a great idea
checkering in strategic locations on the grip for specific hand contact points
the more I think about it I defiantly want to see a finished grip I just know it will be ausom..

I have used the cord they use for tieing meat for cooking it absorbs the epoxie well
I think it is cotton has about a 3/32" thick fills the gap fast without a lot of marerial, its also light.
makes for a good adhetion too the blank.
put it on like a cross wrap openings to the blank

I use the cord that cooks use for tieing meat for cooking, wraped in a cross wrap open space to the blank is important, the cord absorbs the epoxe as apposed to nylon cord,
its fairly thick so it takes up space without a lot of layors.

I have that exact lazer level. the onlyt problem is that the beam is a little wide and grainey.
I also tried a lazre site for other toys it was better but still a little thick.
still looking for a tight sharp beam or at least closer.
Curt
Never take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night!
