When you get it figured out let us know. I now use a macbook pro now but kept my old pc to run my pc only programs. Not for sure but there is a program called VMWare Fusion that let MACs run PC based programs. I've been tempted but not ready to dive into it.

It works on my laptop with Windows 7 pro. Had no problems with install. And runs fine. Don't have Win 8. The question sounds like my buddy saying' 'my car won't run'. I understand it can be frustrating but if you give more details about your install process and what messages you get then maybe someone can help. Also you can contact the developer. Contact info should be on the web site an

Gary - internet search can be your friend. The a search using "decals for fishing rods" When I did this I saw several suppliers and how-to's listed. Also search on rod building sites for decal making topics and posts. There are some additional information to consider.

I haven't used Madeira Polyneon yet but I have seen it suggested to put a few of the cut-off threads of the polyneon into the mixed epoxy and stir around a bit as a way to minimize fisheye. But it maybe that multiple coats of CP and allowing time for full dry is a way to go.

Try contacting Cason with your issue or question. He has a web site with a contact link. Just internet search for Cason CP to find it. Also let him know which version of CP your have and how long you had it and where you got it.

$500 initial but it can go beyond that if your not careful. Like some said before - I hope my wife doesn't sell my stuff after I die for what I told her I spent.

That's our english unit system for you and why the metric system is liked by scientists/technical people. Look at the house measuring cup it is in volume and ounces. If I remember right the bottles are often labeld in ounces but it may be ounces of weight of pure water. Put something else in the bottle besides water the actual weight will be different from the label. That saying next time you b

Try resending the email key request following the instructions given with the software. Maybe the email got jacked the first time. I got mine in a few days. Have seen on some other older posts that sometimes the mail didn't get through. This software was created by an individual not a corporation and it makes sense for him to protect the time and investment he put into this application. Too

What do you mean "software code" . If your talking about the actual software code that gets compiled into the application I doubt you will get that. No one typically sends the actual software code. But if your talking about the application software disc then that will depend on who you ordered the application software disc from. There are several distributor sources and it will depend

In the US isopropanol sold at pharmacy is available in diluted percentages. The diluent is often water. So even at 97% there is 3% water so using this in an alchol burner is trying to burn water. I use DNA (ethanol based alcohol) from my local hardware store in the paint section. Find less sputtering of the flame with this than with Isopropyl alcohol.

When bad things happened to me when I was young my dad always asked "and what did you learn from this?" Some times I'd say 'won't do that again". "Fine" but he would follow up with "and what else". That made me have to think deeper. In this case you asked about, I learned that when dealing with a product supplier big or small to asked about their credit

I did my last 3 rod blanks with House of Colors custom auto paints and clear coated. Liked the color choices, flex and adhesion properties, glossy finish, and I have the equipment to do the job. But that's my opinion. Opinions are like noses and everybody has one. Do a SEARCH for painting blanks of this site and other sites and see what I mean. Rods are painted with Krylon to autopaints.

Visual wrap is a software tool is assist in the wrappinng visualization. How to apply is another learning experience. I suggest you do internet searches and youtube searches on wrapping fishing rods. You could try to do an internet search for MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets) for graphite and fiberglass. There might be something there about health concerns and exposure.

Pay attention to what Jim says- I have both jigs and use both. Which one I use depends on the weave thread count and my mood. Agree too get the 100 thread Doc Ski jig if you only get one.

I would not recommend Wally thread cause they mostly get cost down by squeezing suppliers and or getting seconds. Check out all you can on the internet about thread - size, weight, color consistancy, embroidery vs sewing, conditioned for machine sewing (coated/lubricated), material (cotton, polyester, rayon) . Search engines are a great thing. Also cheap thread will likely give you more head

2, 14, 15 Nice color choices, straight lines, and tight packing. Oh yeah - But to make it clear I would be happy to have any one of them. They all made it a hard choice to pick out the top 3.

Check out Using Visual Wrap section of Visual Wrap/Visual Weave website. Also check out you virus protection setup. May need to temporarily turn off protection during install. Had to do this on my Win 7 Pro machine for one of the wrapping programs but don't remember if it was for WV or P2W. I run 2 virus protection programs and one interfered with the installlation.
