DC motors for new Renzetti lathe.

Received a new Ranzetti power wrapper. But for wrapping and drying, did not care for the 1/10th hp, AC motor with which the Renzetti was equipped.
So, have added the capability of two different DC motors. One with a maximum of 100 rpm for applying finish and drying.
A 2nd DC motor with a maximum of 1000 rpm, geared down to a maximum of 700 rpm for general power wrapping.
The motors will be powered by a 0-24 volt DC power supply with a foot pedal to control the speed. The foot control has no spring, so the speed will remain constant with the foot off the pedal. Particularly when drying.
The power supply incorporates a reversing switch which simply swaps the DC polarity to the motors which reverses the motor direction.

The motor and head stock are on a temporary mounting board, that was used during the construction of the motor mounts and motors.

Very nice Roger. I especially like the ability to reverse. Did you make your motor mounts?

Yes,
I made the motor mounts. The first one took quite a while - while I looked at many different options. But the 2nd one only took a few minutes since I know how I was going to make it.
