I have seen Kevin's demo in person as a tune up for the ICRBE and he was very thorough in his process of using abalone. I have not seen the video yet, but I can't imagine it being any less informative than his live demo. Before Kevin, I had heard very little about this process and I thank Kevin for his willingness to share his methods with the rest of us.

I have had this occur to me before. It was not specifically due to the CP, but to how I applied it. I did not get it into the threads enough (probably because I dilute the CP). I usually do two to three good coats of CP now and then when the CP is dry, I put alcohol on the wrap with a brush. The alcohol will definitely show you where there is not enough CP or if you missed a spot with CP as i

I use black electrical tape to hold mine on and have never had any problems with it. I have a cork tape handle. You could do that until you find the ideal spot you would wnt the seat in and then wrap it with thread. Mark
