Hi I'm thinking of building a popping rod for gt tuna
and was wondering if any one built them and on which blanks?
was looking for around 7'5" PE8 and to throw around 70g-180g
was going to do some stick baiting with it swell

5. visualwrap
Hi just installed visual wrap to my iMac and got it working with the app WinOnx thanks to David Boyle
only problem i have now is that its asking me to register the program which i did a couple of years ago when first purchased,
tried emailing for a new key but haven't had a response just curious if David is around or busy,to try sort it out
unfortunately visual weave doesn't work on the WinOnx

12. pac bay lathe
Hi
i was wondering if any one has had any problems with the pac bay lathe i have owned one for 1 to 1and ahalf years ive built about 10 rods on it and
love using it, the only problem i have had is this morning i woke up and the drive belt had snapped this is the 2nd time on the drying motor, i only got
3 rods out of it before it broke a second time, i cant see any damage on the pulleys eith

no because of the bush wlaking to get in to the rock ledge rollers end up getting to much dirt branches leaves etc on the way
if you want go on to youtube and look up lbg marlin you guy would probly spin out the size of fish that is actually caught

Hi a customer bought his own components and bought hardloy guides he now asked me if they are fine for a 24 kg LBG rod

I heard about Sydney rod builders it would have been great for me since it was located about 10 minutes walk for me I think it split because David Boyle moved to QLD?

hi i have a aftco reel seat ARS-1M i was curious if a tiagra 50WLRS would fit on it ok or should i get a bigger reel seat??

was a fun day learnt a few tricks and tips been playing with this rod since i got home and cant stop. it was good to meet afew rod builders other than the net and actually talk face to face
cant wait for the the next meet
oh and the stickers fits nicely on the back of my car, cheers for that Tom, and thanks Barry for the hospitality seeing your workshop/area makes me want to buy a house and do

thanks for the replys just curious on the BHNG's or BHBNG's so which site is right on the describtion?? mudhole says 20-30lb anglers workshop says 30-50lb??

hi im building a rod atm 24kg the tip is bigger than the blank tip the owner of the rod supplied the components, is there away to build up the tip so the roller tip fits?
its a aftco says 12 on it? do u build it up with tape like the reel seat?? and epoxy it?

i saw that mudhole had the HBSG guides, but it says in the describtion that the guides are rated to 20 to 30lb??
