hi i started doing a chevron the other day but the thread keeps sliding through the masking tape and the calstar blank so i didnt apply as much pressure to the thread and i noticed i got halfway through the 2nd chevron and threads were slipping from the tape so i pulled them all off to start again i was wondering is there better tape than masking tape to hold the thread and or will the tr

hi all sorry for all the questions but i was trying a cross wrap the other day and im having problems when i do the wraps down and up the rod after afew wraps they come lose ,i was putting masking tape up the rod to hold the thread but it seems to slide after a few wraps any thoughts to how to over come this? cheers
