My dealings with Decal Connection have been great. They really do a first class job.
Their decals are peel and stick, and it is really important to put down an epoxy layer first, apply the decal to the epoxy, and then epoxy over the decal. Re: Decals

Yes, Decal Connection. Excellent service, professionally delivered. Their labels are peel n stick and for best application, put down a coat of finish, apply the label, then either CP or workable fixative over the label to ensure none of the adhesive around the edges creates fish eyes on your final finish coats.

Threre's a guy in the nerbs facebook page that prints decals on waterslide ,he advertised it as $45 per sheet.
I got a sheet from him and they were real good. I got half of the sheet in silver and half in gold. Re: Decals

for me, the better one of the two is waterslide. peel n stick are kinda thick compared to waterslide and follows the contour better than peel n stick.
easy to get the bubbles out, easy to install, easy to move around to straighted it parallel to the blank. no other solvent needed, just distilled water. Re: Decals

Drew.... are you letting a thin coat of epoxy cure on the rod before applying the decal, or using a thin coat and letting it get tacky and applying the decal, or ???
