About 5 or 6 years ago I built a number of 6' 2 pc. ultra light action spinning rods using the Tiger Eye blank (GS-60-2UL) from Dave Sevier. Now I have one of them returned with a broken tip section. Since Dave is no longer in business I was hoping someone on the forum might have a replacement tip section I can buy. I'm also looking for a half dozen 2 pc fiberglass light action spinning blanks in the 6-7' range.
Thanks in advance Jim Re: Tiger eye blanks

Jim, I've been looking for the these blanks as well. No luck yet. I do have a tip section, but I'm not sure of the weight. I'll sell if you want. Re: Tiger eye blanks

IMHO
I think you will be better with the ID of the end of the ferrule - then measure the butt 2 - 2 1/2" from the tip of the butt if the taper is OK it may fit It also should be a similar size to the butt section You may be able to work them to fit ???? carefully Also check out Schneiders Rod Shop He has some Think they are salt Bill - willierods.com Edited 1 time(s). Arg! I can't find my calipers anywhere! I used a tip sizer, and the id is 1/4 inch. The section is probably about 4'6". Probably a 3/4 or 4/5 wt., judging from the action and feel. I bought several of these 2nd blanks years ago at the Rod show. Re: Tiger eye blanks

Brain, Looks like it won't fit. I need the tip section for a 2 pc spinning rod. Thanks anyway.
