Since you guys are the Gurus I figured i would ask here. I have a request to make a rod with a specific pattern (houndstooth) link provided below. My question is two parts: 1) have any of you seen/done this pattern? 2) if not, do any of you have advice on how I could do it (without weaving or computer software)?
I know that is not making it easy but that’s why I ask the pros. Thanks Steve [www.google.com] Re: Pattern Help

you could do what i do.i take billys book and match it up the closest i can to give me a starting point and basic spacing, then start +1 a thread or x2 the threads or what ever the pattern needs to develop.now billy may chime in with his VW expierence and be able to lay out the pattern but i find the experimentation to be gratifying. www.southriverrodsllc.com Re: Pattern Help

Hello Steve
Looks like a 200 X 200 thread weave, and if it is you need to talk to Jim Upton, he is the weaving "guru". You may find it in PC Stich, I believe it is called. Tight Wraps. Bob, New Bern, NC. Re: Pattern Help
