This time of year people regularly walk up to me holding their fishing rod in two pieces. The most common break is in the top foot or less of the rod. I am looking for a source of hollow fiberglass sleeves that would be suitable for the repair. I occassionally come across old rods that I can cut up for this purpose, but I have not been able to keep up a ready stock of the proper sizes needed. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks. If you know the mfg of the blank you might contact them and request sleeve material in the sizes that you want. Most will provide them at very reasonable cost. Re: Fiberglass Repair Sleeve Source

Thanks for the suggestions. I found some at Jann's Netcraft that should be suitable. I will give them a try and see what they look like. Re: Fiberglass Repair Sleeve Source
