I just don't see the reason for it. I will just stay with my two part. Kevin Gross Many men will spend their whole life wondering if they made a difference. Marines dont have that problem - Ronald Regan Re: ThreadMaster One questions

I am disappointed with Threadmaster one. I used in on my first rod build, a Winston 7 weight B3X. It went on well, and was easy to apply. It didnt change the thread wrap color at all, using silk thread. I had no issues with bubbles, or how clear ir was. However, I tried to use it as a protective coating for some decals, and found that it didn't want to laminate well to the rod blank. I removed it, cleaned with isopopal alcohol and retried, with the same results. I figured, oh well, it's just cosmetic and won't affect the rod, and since it is my rod, wasn't too worried about it. Two years later, and due to health issues, only have used the rod twice, I decided to inspect the rod. I checked the wraps, and found that the TM one is coming away just slightly from the rod blank on its edges. It seems strong enough on the actual wraps though. I will not use this product on any rods I intend to sell. I'm looking for a reliable replacement product, such as a good 2-part epoxy that flows well, and doesn't yellow. I wan'ted to like it, but... I hope others have had better experiences with TM One.
