I want to do a Predator wrap how far should the spacing be between the little fishes. Also how far should the big fish be from the little fishes. Any help would be appreciated. Re: Predator dec wrap

Mate I did one a while back and used double the square spacing or there abouts. The pattern is really stretched out and you have to make sure your threads are well locked in place so they don't slip. Billy will probably chime in and I'm pretty sure he uses an approximate double spacing.

So Mark what your'e saying is that the more lengthy the pattern is the chance that it will slip? Just wanting to make sure cause I hae done various lengths of wraps and is wondering if that is why some slip more then others. Re: Predator dec wrap

That's right Lorenzo. The more you extend the pattern from square spacing, the more issues you will have with slippage. If your set up is right and you wrap it well you shouldn't have too many problems. Make sure when you commence your tie down that you use more pressure than you normally would before you trim or shave down the loose ends. If you don't the whole wrap may slip - once that happends there's no rescuing it.
