RDU would be too much to hope for ... perfect Amtrak service for me. I think that Scott might just be on to something. Unfortunately, if he is right - the rail schedules aren't as sweet. Re: 2013 Expo

I said Atlanta, but after careful reconsideration, I think Steve Gardner is on to something w/ having it in conjunction w/ the fishing expo in Greensboro....location, time of year, etc. Re: 2013 Expo

Atlanta is certainly ideal in many ways, but the cost associated with having the event there would preclude many of our vendors from being able to attend and exhibit. I refer to item #4 from my earlier post.

In conjunction with ICast would be difficult... you have several companies attending the ICRBE who would not have the ability to run displays at both venues concurrently.

Grand Rapids, MI. Nice convention center, affordable town. 20 minutes for me to get there..l. Re: 2013 Expo

Living here in Greensboro it would be nice having here in conjunction with the fishing expo even thou i like High Point. The convention center in Winston-Salem is really nice. Having in Raleigh or Durham are good choices. Even Chapel Hill (aka God's Country) would work. Raleigh has good night life, airport convenience, amtrak convenience. good eating (BBQ) the Pitt featured on Food Network and Bobby Flay. Might could catch a ACC men's Basketball game or Carolina Hurricane Hockey game. Wilmington, NC would be a good choice with airport near but no amtrak. Great night life and a big body of water close by to try some fishing for speckled trout or drum fishing. But with the convention center in Winston-Salem and location to hotels and restaurants that would be my choice. Re: 2013 Expo
