I've been looking for a 2 part auto clear in a spray can, but can not find one with flex additive online. Can someone point me in the right direction as to what brand and where I can purchase. I can get the Spraymax locally. Will this work? It will be for clearing an entire blank. Re: 2 part auto clear

A 2-part coating is not going to come in a spray can. Whatever you find in a spray can is going to be a 1-part product.
When an automotive refinisher paints a car, he adds the paint (urethane) and a hardener/activator together and applies them via a spray gun. .............. Re: 2 part auto clear

Also 2k automotive clears have a certain amount of flex. If you research flex additive(at least PPG's), you will find they evaporate in less than six months. The real advantage is getting flexible parts(usually a bumper) on the car with out cracking the paint. Re: 2 part auto clear

Thanks for the info on the flex additive. They do sell the 2 part finish in spray cans. The can has the two parts separated until ready to use. I thought I had read here that the flex add. was needed, but if it evaps off, no need for it at all. Re: 2 part auto clear

The stuff you are refering too is plenty flexible for a rod blank. I have used it many many times! Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
