Good evening! Has anyone used the Shikari ISJ 5300 as a spin jig rod blank? How does it compare to the Loomis SJR6400?
Thanks, Rick Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 05/07/2011 09:25PM by Richard Glabach. Re: Shikari ISJ 5300

I have and you will find it very similar.. Wish there was a cheaper option available vice the North Fork's... Please don't get me wrong. I absolutely LOVE my North Fork!!!!! however for those rods I personally am not willing to put out that kind of money.. Really wish that MHX would pick up models like those! Re: Shikari ISJ 5300

Tom -- It just happens that we have 5 to 6 shorter Spin Jig and Spinning models in the works. They will be another 90 days or so out yet. Bob McKamey bobm@mudhole.com Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 05/09/2011 09:08AM by Bob McKamey. Re: Shikari ISJ 5300

Shikari's 5300 was based on the G. Loomis 6400. They're almost identical.

Bob,
Finally!!!! Really have been waiting for a new stick to fill the void for my old SJ722's. I would love to have something available similar to the 6400 or 5300!! Re: Shikari ISJ 5300
