looking for so me glow in the dark thread for some ice rods im getting ready to build. If you know where i can find some it would be greatly apreciated.

If you have a Joanne Fabrics close by they have a 40wt. Glow in the dard thread that I use for surf rods. D86 and it comes in 7 colors.

But be careful with what you put over them for finish. Anything with UV inhibitors greatly reduces the glow and how long it lasts.

The easiest thing to do is a quick test wrap on a hunk a dowel, coat with you finish, let dry and see how it performs. If you only coat part of the wrap then you have a control site so you can tell exactly how much affect the finish has.
