Looking to build a Bass casting rod for pitching. 7 foot with fast action tip, medium heavy blank. I will be pitching 4 to 5 inch crawls & senko's with no more than 1/2 oz pegged slip sinker. What blanks would you recommend.

thanks in advance for all your help.

Rogue TF 705 or MB 704.

For myself I would suggest the Rainshadow RX8 XMB843-TC.

I second the RX8 XMB843. Spiral wrapped with micros. Probably my favorite rod.

I'm with you guys on the XMB843....though my personal fav is the XSB843...I like the slightly softer tip of the S version for smaller plastics...built casting style. Havent thrown those particular Rogue models, but the ones that I have are very nice.

I'm with the three above except I prefer the upgraded 8+ model
RX8+C843 7'0" Medium Hvy Fast 10-17 1/4-3/4oz 2.46oz. Satin Black

If you are planning to throw weightless Sinko's, the one below is an incredible blank that purpose.
RX8+C812 6'9" Medium Fast 8-14 1/4-5/8oz. 1.85oz. Satin Black

Thanks everyone for your input. I will get my hands on a 843 blank to see how it feels. Should be just what I want.

Thanks again.
