Yet another question from here in the UK.
I've decided to use my 1" belt sander to dress the feet on my guides, but it's impossible to find any over here. I've checked Amazon UK and they dont do it, and although I can order on Amazon US they wont ship to me. Can anyone help me get some. My sander is a 1" X 30" belt model which I think is quite common over there. Appreciate any help you can give. Phil. Re: 220 grit belts

THe smllest I have for mine is 180. I have some odd ones made for sharpening a knife, the abrasive is a thick material, I think cork based or something, it's 220, 400 and 600 grit. I cannot remember the name of the company I got them from, super abrasive or somethng like that? THey have a blue belt which is their specialty, maybe that will help your search. Re: 220 grit belts

Try a search under "Norton Abrasives". I'm pretty sure that's where Delta is getting their 1X30's Mark Griffin [] C&M Custom Tackle San Dimas, California Re: 220 grit belts

I suggest you get as fine a grit as possible. It is amazing how fast they can take off material. Re: 220 grit belts
