HI GUYS -
I AM LOOKING FOR A ROD SOCK FOR A 5 PIECE FLY ROD - HARD TO FIND, SPENDING WAY TO MUCH TIME LOOKING ON INTERNET - BE NICE TO GET A FEW SUGGESTIONS IF ANYONE HAS ONE ? THANKS RON B Re: FLY ROD SOCK

Anglers Workshop in WA ... they will custom design whatever you need AND at a very reasonable price. I have purchased quite a few "exotic" socks from them over the years - good guys. Re: FLY ROD SOCK

You can sew one yourself with a couple yards of fabric, access to a sewing machine, and about half hour of your time. Do it for every rod I build. Consider it the final custom touch. Re: FLY ROD SOCK

If you don't have one - pick up an inexpensive sewing machine. You can easily find a decent sewing machine for $50 if you search a bit locally or on the internet. If you don't know how to sew, take a class at a sewing machine shop. Time well spent and you can take care of these little chores yourself. Roger Re: FLY ROD SOCK

My wife custom makes them. she can even embroider names etc on them.
