Smaller tips are in the works from American Tackle. At this time, 6 ring is smallest for now, from Am.Tackle I do have other options for tips at this time, with a 4, 4.5 or 5 ring. No half sizes are offered at this time. As a question, for reference, I would like to know why half sizes in guides are even needed. Thanks ~~

American Tackle did get the chrome SS tops in a 4 ring in tube sizes 4.0 - 5.5.

Bob, actually I was also wondering about 3 1/4 and 3 3/4 sizes. ....:)

Kidding aside, just wondering to match some other manufacturer's sizes. But you have a good point, not sure why 1/2 sizes are needed except some manufacturers do offer them so thought I'd ask.

Mo -- I used to stock some of the Micro guides in half sizes and I really never saw a need for them. If anyone has found why half sizes are needed, this would be good infromation to know about. Thanks -- Bob

I think it comes down to using the smallest guide that will pass your connections. There may be a leader/line connection that can pass through a 3.5 but won't pass through a 3.

They really need to make the tip tops, for the titan series before releasing more guides. Its been a year now. Kinda funny to use a fuji tiptop when all the other guides on the rods are Am-tak. I can not sell a rod with SS tip when im claiming titan guides.
