Here's what I've got:
1/2" ID EVA Straight 1/2" Steel Mandrel smooth (non threaded) Grizlzy Hobby Lathe with variable speed 1/2" Drill I need to shape the straight EVA to a tapered foregrip. Do I use a small amount of epoxy to hold the EVA on the mandrel? This is the part I can't figure out. What keeps the EVA from spinning on the mandrel? Re: turning EVA on Mandrel

I use a wrap or two of masking tape around the mandrel. Re: turning EVA on Mandrel

Like Stan said, use tape as a bushing and force the EVA over it Mike (Southgate, MI) If I don't want to, I don't have to and nobody can make me (except my wife) cuz I'm RETIRED!! Re: turning EVA on Mandrel

I do like Mike and Stan My mandrals are a tad smaller than the Eva inside dia. By using tape my grips slide right off when I am done

I spiral wrap tape and wrap it with a little more overlap in the center to increase thickness and better hold the grip. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
