Does anyone know what size winding check I should use for a 000710 txl. assume a u25 reel seat and a 6" cork grip. Thanks very much. Gavin

I've always taken the butt dimension and bought the two next size smaller checks. It has worked well for me.

A struble size 16 should work. Your butt is .255 and the size 16 is.250 and the next size up is .266 which will be a little large, and .233 will be a little small most likely. I am not sure how the taper is on a 000 but I believe this should be safe. you will be 10 inches up from the butt.
