Hello All,

I am in the Army stationed in Germany and am interested in rod building. Does anyone know if Mudhole will ship their products to a military APO address? I sent Mudhole an e-mail and they never responded, so I was also concerned about their customer service. Thanks for any info and what a great site!

Hi Rob,

just give them a little time to answer, sometimes the guys over there are really busy. But I know the feeling sometimes you need an answer minimum fast or even yesterday...

I ordered with them a couple of times without big problems - living in Germany (non military). So I expect that it will not be a problem at all for them to ship to an address wherever it is.

If you need some local sources (forgot one guide or one specific thread...) for a fast replenishment in the middle of a project just let me know.

Mudhole has been shipping to my FPO/AP addresses in Japan now for about 5 or 6 years. Never had any issues with them.

Yes we ship internationally and to APO addresses daily. On Monday the customer service department will check on why you did not receive a response to your email. We attempt to respond to all correspondences within hours of their receipt during normal business hours, however emails don't always reach their intended destination due to spam and junk email filters, etc. We apologize for the inconvenience and we look forward to serving your rod building needs in the future.

In follow-up to my initial post, I placed my order through Mudhole and the order was sent out the next day to my military with no problems. I spoke to several folks on the phone at Mudhole which were extremely helpful on certain selections. Thanks to all who assisted. Rob Harvey
