Hello All,
Welp its been along time since I have been here. How's everyone doing, fine I hope. Well I went and did it I bought the wonder weaver and I am about to start my first project with it. I have a question on what size thread to use. First let me tell you what I am building on. It will be a Gator Glass t 80 xh blank. I will be weaving about 16" between the grips on butt wrap. The weave I am going to try is a checkered. So any help on this would be great. I usally use size D thread for my wraps, I usally build surf rods and been doing pretty good, but now to geti into better wraps. Thanks, Glen Re: Wonder Weaver

Glen; That's an ambitious project. There is too much that I don't know to help you here. So if you will E-Mail me I will try to help. The first thing I need to know is the blank circumference in millimeters where the weave will start . Then the length of the weave you intend to do, and the Blank circumference where the weave will end. I am assuming that this will be a 360 degree weave. The size of the checkers and whether the circumference will divide evenly will be the biggest issue. There are some interesting ways of getting around it but I need the numbers to help.
