Good Morning,
I know that this topic has been discuss over and over again but after you paint the blank with the paint for RC cars what do you use to protect the paint? I imagine that permagloss would be too hot for the paint. Pat Re: Painting Again

same laquer that you would use on radio control cars
Dont use rod finish epoxy unless you want a major messy headache to clear up Re: Painting Again

We actually use Perma Gloss sprayed from the same airbrush as the paint. Just a larger tip size on the gun. Mark Griffin [] C&M Custom Tackle San Dimas, California Re: Painting Again

Pat,
We will soon have a water based urethane that is every bit as clear and durable as permagloss, w/o the hazardous drawbacks. It sounds like Mark is having good luck spraying permagloss, but I would not reccomend spraying it, as permagloss is VERY flamable, and unless you're doing it in a spray booth with an expolsion proof exhaust motor, or outside where there is no danger of flamability, you could run the risk of some serious problems. Permagloss is much better (safer) applied via a foam brush (squeegee method). Andy Dear Lamar Fishing Products Re: Painting Again

Andy...as soon as you get the new paint up and running, please send me something via email or snail mail to see colors and prices...I paint several blanks and would love to get all my paints from you if the colors I need are available.
