Well I showed up at Bill Stevens house at 10:00 AM this morning all ready to flock some grips. The temperature was already 95 degrees and Bill was sweating his tail off getting everything ready to start flocking our grips. Wouldn't you know that it was so hot that the glue was just like liquid and it wouldn't stay put on the cork grips. Before we knew it Bill had this purple glue all over him, over his arms, face, chest and everywhere on his backside. Well about that time I had the gun in my hand and this purple flock started shooting out of the gun all over Bill. A combination of hot glue and flocking fibers all over him got him screaming and yelling "Get this stuff off of me, I'm burning up". Neighbors stopped to look at what all the commotion was about. He looked like a purple chicken running up and down the street, I mean he was running so fast his suspenders couldn't catch up with him.
Just a little humor between two rod builders that just happened to meet on this great rodbuilding site .It's always nice when you can get together in person with another rodbuilder to spend a few hours sharing ideas and thoughts with each other. For the "Purple Streak"and myself have a nice day. Lance Re: All "Flocked" Up

I knew Bill had started flocking everything he could get his hands on including the LS who tiger's tail. Now I can't wait to see a purple tailed tiger. This is just his excuse for flocking himself. Would love to see a flocked Bill Stevens with his purple tailed tiger. Hope you post some pictures.
