Is purchase of good quality cork rings a problem?

Dear sponsors. I wish to buy 200-300 pcs. of cork rings by about 1 dollar everyone. Who is ready to sell ones for me?

I live in Russia. Only delivery by USPS Airmail Parcel Post or USPS Global Express Mail (EMS) is acceptable to me.
UPS and FedEx do not arrange basically for me. At these ways of delivery I will have too many problems because of Russian customs rules.

Karen has no cork ÀÀÀ available yet. Custom Tackle do not want to send cork AAAA by USPS for unknown reasons.

One problem is that those grade names mean nothing. One person's flor is another company's AA is another company's Super. And, they vary from shipment to shipment.

Not that this has to do with your problem, but a new cork grade scale backed by a published standard will be out in April. I think it will help the builders to know the quality of the cork before they actually receive it.

They aren't a sponsor, but lots of people swear by C & D Trading

The only thing they sell is cork

If you want the best cork possible, try getting ahold of some non-bleached cork. For some reason, the rodbuilding industry likes the bleached cork. The problem with that is sometimes that can hide a lot of the holes. The cork grading scale is long overdue. This can put everybody on a 'level playing field' as far as knowing what you're going to get.

Never been impressed with C&D Trading. It sounds good and it looks good in photos but then you get it and it's full of holes and pits. I had to send back two 500 ring orders because it was so bad. Supposed to be their best stuff, five star. Awful.

Anglers Workshop is about the best I've gotten for cork rings. Not perfect but pretty darn good.

Thanks, gentlemen.

I know about too grade names of cork.
But I need in ONE DOLLARS for ring. My grade is cost of cork ring.
I guess, AAA from Bingham and AAAA from Custom Tackle is same grade of quality.
I have a shipping problems. Custom Tackle send international orders by UPS only .
UPS is impossible for me. UPS and FedEx have a miserable service in Russia and custom troubles.
My choice is USPS air-mail or USPS Global Express.

Dennis Venutolo
It is true. I'm accordant to you. I saw cork of C&D Trading by my own eyes. I don't want to buy this cork.

Alexander:

We can send you cork via Canada Post (same as USPS) or USPS, as we have warehouses in both Canada and the US. Generally, we only stock FLOR grade rings, which are a bit pricier than what you've indicated is your price range...we can bring the "Super" rings in for you quite quickly which are closer to your desired price. If you want to drop by our website (www.rockymountainrodbuilding.com) you can see our cork ring options and pricing by clicking on "Our Store", then "Cork Grips and Rings" (left side of store), then "Rings" and you're there! :)

Send me an email if you'd like to look into the options and get a quote from us!

Warmest regards,

Thanks, John
I'll reply to you later. Canada Post is appropriate for me. But my Mastercard is in USA dollars. Convert from USA dollars into Canadian dollars.... Real cost of goods will increase. I'm thinking about it.

Thanks, Ken.
Do you undestand the Russian language?
Certainly I know about Muhole. SCR2 Select is bad for me, SCR2A Better is too expensive. I want $1-1.2 for ring and adequate quality for these money.
I keep in mind you proposition.

Regards
