I just did my top wrap of my Tiger wrap with the sacrifice thread, and when I epoxy it, there was all these hairs of the thread sticking out of the epoxy, like if the thread was caoming apart and left me all these nubs with hairs sticking out of them, it is my first coat so i will get rid of them on the next coat, has anyone had this happen to them with rayon?

I have been looking at the video from Fuji, on the KR concept, they have the KL-H spinning guides which have a higher frame, and that they can successfully control the line through smaller size stripper guides, the ? is, on the butt guide, will it be the same as on the NGC concept, where the butt guide is half the diameter of the reel spool, since the KL-H have a higher frame and be moved closer

I just watched the video on KR concept and they have a KR casting concept layout also. Just a thought , I too wonder if it will work for Spiral wrap, I only built 1 spiral wrap so far on micros, I think it might be ok its just that u would put it in a spiral wrap instead of on top for the running guides, just a thought, tight wraps all!

Just thought I'd put this in, I just put the neon lime green witht the pull put thread over dark green and a blue met. after I was done wraping the neon green I noticed that I could see all the inconsistencies, in the spacing of the threads when I pulled out the sacrifice thread, not to bad though, I think it will turn out nicely, I have noticed this in other of my tiger wraps, but not as much

Sounds like i will have to give that a try also Phil, cause when i get towards the tip with the small rubber bands, they're still not tight enough to hold very well, sounds like a trip to the sewing store for me too.

I just had a friend of mine wanting me to build him a rod, I had suggested micros and told him all the reasons why I would build with micros, he said that he had bought them micro rods at a store and they tore up and frayed his fluororcarbon 20pd test up, every time he fished with it, I told him that they probably used #4 or #3's, and that he could use #5, which would solve the problem. ? is, is

Went fishing last night for bass and some catfish, using the MHX rods that I had built, my buddy hauled in a 50lb snapper turtle, and a 12 pound channel, plus all the bass we caught during the first of the evening, the rods did a really good job holding up to them fish and that snapper, Just thought I out this in for a testimony on MHX rods. Tight lines everyone! I.m gonna try to put that catfish
