i went fishing today and was throwing deep diving crankbaits on my Rainshadow ISWB945 , it throw them no problem , i use my Revo SX for the DD crankbaits , i then take off that reel and put on my Revo Toro and throw 8" hudds with the rod !! BTW, most of the dd cranks i throw on it weigh 5/8 oz. !!!!

a good blank in the 2-6 oz. range (will throw smaller baits good too) is Rainshadow's ISWB945 . as far as a "extra heavy action" , don't know anything about that !! this blank is a medium-heavy powered , moderate -fast action . the tip is pretty stiff , the rod loads up really good . i throw Huddlestons , BBZ-1, and other 3-5 oz. baits with it , but have used it throwing frogs on it wit
