Hello to All. What would happen if you kept it in a heated (80%) cabinet, took it out and mixed it. 1. Right after mixing put it back would it still get crystals from such a short exposure to a 68% clime? 2. Now you use the mixed epoxy, will it cure in the 68% temp slower or faster, or could it crystalize before it can cure? Bob Guist.

Hello Steven There is an artical in volume 10 #3 Rod Maker about handle ergonomics, and if you hit SEARCH and type in "rod ergonomics" you will get some more info. Can't help with the fly casting, as I have never been taught how too, but I still do what I can on ocasion. Good Luck Steven. Bob.

Hello Everyone. Thanks Bill, I intend to do just that, I might still be able to use them as rods you never know till you try. Thanks Karen, the finish has been removed and they are charcoal. Mike Winkler sent me a link to a site with a lot of specs on different Shikari blanks. Thanks again to everyone who has helped me with this, I will be looking for more later. Bob Guist.

Hello Everyone I went home last night and looked real close at these blanks (all 14 of them) and found some things 1. The number "FS764X" was hand written in white ink or paint, but was sloppy. 2. The specs on the blanks: Butt: .469 Tip: 6 lenght: 6' 1-3/4". 3. The butt on all the blanks were torn-up all in the same way. If these blanks were ever "FS 764-X" blanks

Hello Chris It's nice to know what you are starting with and I am trying to get a basic inventory together and have not got the whole shop set up yet. I have as yet to put up a board for the CCS yet because I am moving from a room in my house to a 16'X40' work shop and want the inventory done first so I can set it up right the first time and not have to be changing things around all the time

Thanks Mike but I dont have a computer at home, heck I dont even have a digital camra or cable TV. I would however like to see the blanks, I have a large colection of blanks that I picked up here and there but all the paperwork for all of them was lost and even then some never had any, some were bought from people gitting out of the buisness, yard sale rods stripped so forth and so on. I figure

Hello Everyone Thanks Mike Winkler for the specs they are much appreciated I will go home tonight and look a little closer, the blanks are not telescoping, but maybe someone cut the telescoping part off (Who Knows)? Thanks Karen I will take a closer look, my notes do not say if they are hand printed, screen printed or what, so I will double check when I get home. Thanks again Gent and Lady

Hello Bob I fish piers with "got-cha" plugs and when you are jiging you hold the rod tip down over the side of the pier and the threads get between your thumb and forefinger with an up-locking so for pier jiging rods I allways use down-locking. Bob
