I have only made a couple of ramps, but I do as Chris. After curing I mix up my epoxy and do a little marbling. Very easy and looks good. Bill

Thanks to all of the presenters and all of those who sponsor these different groups for stepping up to make all of this possible. Sometime I would like to join forces with you and have an Ohio/and tha

I had a customer drop off a Duckett Rod which he bought two weeks ago. The first five guides from the butt up have a crack in the epoxy. Do you think it is OK to put another coat of epoxy on top or should I strip them all down?

I have used masking tape, dry wall tape and I find the best is the Foam Arbors. Unless you have a very little gap to fill then masking tape is easier.

Dave, You got a lot of useful information, I can only add that you get off the floor as soon as you can. Not just for comfort and quality of work, but wait until your wife steps into that little puddle of epoxy you dripped! If you get down to Canton / North Canton area give me a call and I will show you my set up with a sewing machine motor. send me an email for my phone number. bk&

When putting epoxy on the threads of the female end, be careful NOT to get epoxy inside of the ferrule. If you want, you can ask me how I know. But, I prefer if you don`t. Bill

I have a scrapped one that I show to people by beating it on the edge of the counter. You have to hit plenty hard to even begin to put a dent in it. Yes, very labor intensive. Riley Rods will sell you some very nice grips. He is listed on the left column. Bill
