I actually used single foot guides on the tip section of the 10'6" but from all the boat abuse from fishing the salt, not always the best water conditions as you could imagine and the 1-6 ounce mooching leads plus bait dragging I found that the Double foot guides offer a bit more durability over all maybe just more peace of mind than anything :)

The RDR70L and 76L may be a bit light on the tip for casting anything over 1/4 ounce if you can believe that. I like the idea of using the 70M for a light cranker thanks for the heads up.
