shikari shII fs764. st. croix LE 5C70MF or loomis glx mb843. st. croix or loomis crankbait blanks (just depends on what you want to throw) if you want a glass blank, try the seeker bs706 s-glass blank. there are other blanks that will do the job, but these would be my first choices. good luck.

i won't buy a IV series unless st. croix doesn't have the model i need in the V's. if your going to spend the money buy the LE or save money and buy the III (avid). although i really like the bling, bling blue color. good luck.

for bass rods, you want to get technique specific blanks for each presentation. you will find that each company has rods that will do what you need. i use rods from many to get the "best". i like the st. croix legend elite for presentations that require sensitivity, use rubbing alchol to save finish. if you like the loomis glx you can buy them they are very very nice. i also like

i don't know about printing on address labels, but you can do it on paper. with a laser printer and good paper you can make labels. you need to make the label, spray label with krylon matte finish spray, then put cp on it. then you can put your epoxy over it. do a search for making your own labels. if all of your labels are going to be the same i would opt for decal connection. good luck.

i had the same problem with cleaning off the rod bond with denatured alcohol. i haven't had the flock scrape off but when trying to clean off the extra rod bond it took the flock with it, the grip had been drying for 4 days. how do you get the rod bond off the grip? anyone having the similar problems? thanks.

first i would try like bill said, sometimes just 1 turn of tape will make the grip very secure. or maybe you could try hot glue on each end. good luck.

try making the handle out of cork, but only make it a little longer than the reel foot. ex. if the reel foot is 2.5" make the gip 3.5". prefit the handle with your reel on it to find the balance point you want, mark it, then glue it up. can't make it much lighter. good luck.
