Hi Everyone - I decided to go with a Lemke LC1 reel seat for my 2nd fly rod build. What's the easiest way (step by step) of installing this (along with the grip) on the blank? Glue what to where and when? I have a process in my head for doing this but I don't know if it is the best way. How do you do it? Thanks, Mike J from Oregon

Phil - Sorry if I'm saying this wrong and have things backwards. I want a reel seat that is recessed into the handle and not flush mount against the cork. I would need to get a cork that is already allows for this as I don't have the tools/skills to create the opening required in the handle for this.

On the Snake Seats, why would one choose the .640 OD barrel vs the .705 OD barrel other than one is slightly bigger than the other in length? I really like the look of the American Tackle Braided and

Hi Everyone - New member to the forum. I just finished my first fly rod build (9' 6 weight) using a turnkey kit. I really enjoyed the process and already have a 2nd blank on order -a 8'6" 4 weight Rainshadow Revelation. I'm a bit overwhelmed by the sheer number of reel seat choices and guide choices out there. Guides are a bit easier I think. I'm leaning heavily to Snake Universal Guid
