Chuck: I use a white "China Marker'. It is one of those pencils that has the string you pull and then unwind the paper that covers the center. I then take a razor blade and sharpen the point. John

Dan: I agree that the system you are proposing is more than adequate. I have a Clemens lathe system and the bed can be made fourteen feet long in two foot increments. I also have five supports that can be used. The supports have two rollers on the bottom and one on the top. Both the top and bottom rollers are height adjustable. Mark: Lamiglas used to have a 9 piece, 6'6" blank. I think the no. is FL 7839. I built one of these for my brother-in-law who through hiked the AT in 1999 and each year goes back for a month or so on different sections. John

Hey fellows: On my bench is a small radio/CD player. During the week I just listen to good ole hard drivin' traditional bluegrass with the CD player. On Sunday mornings, some stained glass bluegrass on the radio. Works for me. John
