I really dont like my thread carriage on it too. its not very good. ive had way to many problems with it. try loosening the screws on the bottom of the thread carriage once you take it off of the wrapper. mine is very wobbly too. sometimes it bounces up and down. ive had to redo a lot of guide wraps because of it. i wish they made a thread carriage like the one for the renzetti.

127. Re: Do Over
thats what i was saying. dont apply too much heat that it will smoke and burn the blank. if you use a lighter it makes smoke no matter what even if its not heated that much. if you use a hair dryer you wont have smoke though. good luck.

Bill, I see the stuff billy does all the time at his house, and let me tell you, there is a lot of time put in to those, so idk about how easy they are, especially when you dont have a lathe or bandsaw like little me. lol

133. Re: EVA vs Hypolon?
another advantage to hypalon is that you can put it on the rail and not worry about it getting dented. but its really heavy.

137. nail polish????
I have seen the use of nail polish as a finish for guide wraps. if i dont care how it looks, is it usable. not for big fish or anything. like little flounder. im also using really small guides and dont want to put too much epoxy on the wraps or get it in the guides. i feel as though this is kind of a substitute for PG. let me know.
Thanks

I seem to have forgot the exact method of getting the diameter of a blank using a piece of tape, i know it was simple, but i just want to get it exactly right. And also lets say i wanted to do a wrap with 6 or 8 axis, how do i get it so that they are all even using the piece of tape. I vaguely remember the method for that.
Thanks your help is appreciated.

Have to argue with that, brother. When you're buying 6mm Titanium angled micros with an SIC ring, from Japan, and they go for almost $8 a pop, it hurts to lose a couple. lol.
