Hi, I think the guides I bought came from a spin-rod. YSG 25, 16, 10, 8, LSG 8, 8, 8, T8. The frame is a little bit like the IC or the titanium, but not quite equal. Also the frame is more shiny then matt like the normal gunsmoke. The insert is SiC, all frames are branded. Confusing ... Jan

Thanks for your replies. More information: Blank is 6'2'' with 1 to 2 1/2 lureweight. It is for jerkbait-fishing. I need the longer gripsection (TCS18 reelseat starts at 27cm/ 10,5 in. from the end of the rod). I want to use LN guides (16,12,10,8,7,7,7,7) with FST7. The reel I want to use, is the Revo SLX (I think a medium-size Low Profile reel). I was thinking about to get down to a 7+1
