Thats the handle that was painted solid black with white painted trim bands. I used Minwax ebony stain#2718, one coat. Then let dry for 72 hours. Added copper thread trim. Then used Minwax Helmsman Spar urethane, about 15 coats(30min apart).

Ok so dont laugh. I do any cross that I have seen here yet. I repeat YET. But I could not leave it bare, so here is an effort made. It did not come out centered, but I tried.

Main problem is the trim bands. Getting them centered is proving a bit of a pain.

It has the standard thread carriage, and another flat looking large spool holder, 4 supports with a bunch of extra wheels, new orings, and a head stock thingbi guess to turn cork. I really appreciate the input. It has zero bids and starting his own I think $500. Maybe I'll mske a bid and see how that goes. Thank you so much to all who responded.

I have used bumper paint, you can get it at most auto part stores. Bumber pain has a flex agent in it. After you paing, you can use a 2 part automotive clear. Tight wraps.

Hello all, I had found some foul proof wire guides and was wanting to see a photo of what they look on a rod. Would anyone have a photo they could please share? And any idea of what a set from number 60 down would cost? Thanks in advance

Happy New Year all. I am getting to start my 3rd build. Because of the thickness of the butt section I was looking at the Fuji plate reel seats. I see that they offer a few different ones. Im looking at the NS7. can anyone offer any feed back on these. Thank you guys in advance.
